Setting Up the Connection - QuickBooks Desktop®
Follow these steps to set up an accounting connection for QuickBooks Desktop.
To set up a connection to QuickBooks
- Select Configure > Accounting Connections from the menu bar. The Accounting Connections Search Results screen opens.
- Select New Accounting Connection from the toolbar. The Untitled - Accounting Connection screen opens.
- Enter the name of the connection in the Accounting Connection Name field.
- Select QuickBooks Desktop from the Accounting Package droplist.
Enter connection details
- Enter the path where the company file is located in the Company File field.
- From the Misc G/L Account Mapping section, enter the QuickBooks G/L Account name or number for Undeposited Funds G/L Account, A/R G/L Account, and A/P G/L Account fields.
- Select a Customer Export Format option.
- Select Yes or No from the Export Negative Supplements droplist.
- For Sales Tax, whether QuickBooks will calculate the sales tax amount or CCC ONE will export the sales tax amount to QuickBooks.
- Select the Location tab to continue setting up the connection.

Click Save and Close from the toolbar. Your changes are saved and the Accounting Connection screen closes.
Note: Refer to the Intuit QuickBooks Desktop documentation to look up the QuickBooks Class Name value.
